Acute and chronic experiences of housing instability, food insecurity, and family-related stressors can especially have major negative impacts on the physical, behavioral, and mental health of youth. Health centers are uniquely positioned to identify and address issues that adversely affect the health outcomes of adolescents and young adults. In this Tip Sheet, we present examples of strategies and models that health centers can adopt to positively influence the health and wellness of youth.
